  Well,well, thanks to Mr. C.A Gonzalez(state trooper) of Lee county, I have to pay $250.00 speeding ticket and I dont have my I.D now.. I drive all the time on the highway and I have had one ticket in the past 5 years from going 100 and I agree that it was too fast plus it was the middle of the day, So i understood that one. However C.A Gonzalez has to be one of the most unprofessional State troopers I have ever came across(only have came across two others). First he pulled me over at 12:30 A.M and I was going 89 in70 12:30 A.M... There had to be only a few cars on the highway at this time so for that reason I dont understand why he had me pulled over? I was not harming anyone or was I driving reckless, he just decided that I was the one to pull over,there were multiple vehicles driving past me(even though there were few cars driving ) but I was the lucky one to deal with it. Trooper Gonzalez then processed me for a speeding,(okay I get it, Its your first time on the job with your boss and you need to get some tickets under your belt, so it "it makes it seem like your doing your job" however he then did not give me back my ID and now after I have contacted him and talked to him, he remembers the situation differently and claims to have gave my ID back to me... Trooper Gonzales cant even admit when hes wrong, so what does that say about law enforcement?

  I was involved in a car accident recently and the highway patrol was dispatched to assess the scene. I was not at fault and was as cooperative as any person could be after being hit and shaken up. The female officer who came out was flat out rude(that's putting it nicely), condescending, and impatient. I was shocked at the lack of compassion to someone injured and involved in this type of situation. Maybe this woman was having an even worse day than I was, but you don't exactly give your profession a good name.

  So I got my first speeding ticket in 20+ years yesterday courtesy of the Florida State Troopers. I am not complaining, nor ranting, as I made the decision knowing full well the consequences if I got caught. (Although I think using airplanes is cheating on their part smile emoticon:) ) I think we should all start taking accountability for the decisions we make, especially people who post about getting caught speeding... come on, you were speeding you got caught - pull up your big boy / girl panties and move on. What I am doing is shouting out to Trooper D.C. Vasquez with the Florida State Troopers- he was polite and respectful and smiled a genuine smile when he handed me my ticket reminding me to drive safe. Thank you! PS.. who knew a Mustang could go that fast?

  First time I had a tire blowout - FHP helped me change it on the side of I-75 exit. Amazing service by Kent. I now know how to change a tire. It's incredibly scary on the interstate when you have to stop-really appreciated the help!!!
