- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Set up a mailbox for my new business on a 3-month trial. Instead of reminding me via email or phone that my next payment was due I received a threatening phone call that my box would be closed unless I renewed. So I went and asked how much a full year would cost and was told $180. I gave Matt, the clerk, my debit card and he said it would be $200 with tax and the late penalty. "How much is the late penalty?" "$10. It's in your contract." "But the UPS Store website says you would notify me via email when I have mail or packages to pick up. All I ever got from you was a threatening phone call that you were going to close my account." "Our store doesn't send notifications." "Can't you waive the late fee if I'm renewing for an entire year?" "No. The late fee is in the contract." So I'm taking my business elsewhere, filing for a change of address for my business, and contacting UPS Store corporate to alert them that they lost my business forever over a $10 late fee and poor customer service.By Diplo Tek, March 17, 2017
